Pim Conradi in one of his dwellings.

A travelling show of lateral design concepts & pictures of an imaginary futuristic megalopolis with conceptual designs of portable dwellings and shelters deploying retractable and folding prefab modular systems, developed for nearly 35 years at Hololand Laboratories for lateral design concepts – some of it over the past few years at Area Ten in Peckham, London, UK

Pim Conradi

Innovator of construction systems, such as:

- Portable holography optics systems, dedicated as a fixed recording medium for 3-d arts and sculpture.
- Portable units for survival or folding nomadic shelters
- Development of modular D.I.Y.-construction/design systems, utilising simplified physical properties of regular geometric solids resulting in orbicular shaped enclosures.

I’d like to introduce you to a friend of mine currently residing in Peckham, South London.
He is an artist and designer who believes in living in environments that are abstract to the conventional square-boxed room. His environments are very inspiring to be inside and fractures the views of how we should be living.

Below are some photos I took of his installations at Area10 in Peckham, I recommend a visit if you get the chance.
